A fine, rare and small French rose gold open faced quarter repeating keyless lever pendant watch, circa 1890. Rhodium-plated movement, matte gilt, 23 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs with two polished steel hammers. Gold-hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, red 12, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals, red 60, original gold spade hands. Polished case, the back with engraved monogram LB, the interior engraved Mlle L. Barre. Dial and cuvette signed.
