A fine French 18 carat gold, enamel, pearl and diamond set keyless pendant watch made for the Indian market, circa 1910. Frosted gilt movement, 16 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute track and original gold spade hands. Case overlaid with dark blue translucent enamel to the hinged back, central star set with diamonds and peripheral pearls, hinged bezel set with pearls. Case numbered, movement signed B & S.GD.G. Comes with detachable gold and enamel matching brooch.
