A fine Austrian 20 carat gold open faced verge pocket watch, circa 1760. Frosted gilt full plate movement, conical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three armed steel balance, flat balance spring, pierced and chased continental balance cock, silver regulation dial. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions and Arabic five minute numerals, original gold Louis XV hands. Louis XV case, bezel and band decorated with wavy line engraving. Dial and movement signed.
