A very fine, rare and thin and elegant French 18-carat gold, silver and diamond set open faced keyless lever pendant watch, circa 1910. Frosted gilt movement, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Matte silver dial, sunburst engine turned with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and original blued steel Breguet hands. Polished bezel and band, the back made from a silver coin of Catherine II of Russia, the border set with rose-cut diamonds. Dial and movement signed.
