A very fine and elegant Swiss platinum open faced lever dress watch, circa 1935. Rhodium-plated movement, 18 jewels, 8 adjustments, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to temperature and five positions, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Three-tone grey and silver dial with baton indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial, original white gold lozenge hands. Polished and brushed case, stepped bezel and back rim, rectangular bow, the case back with engraved decoration. Dial, case and movement signed, case and movement numbered.
