A fine and elegant Swiss platinum open faced keyless dress pocket watch by Vacheron Constantin, Geneva, circa 1935. A solid plain case, with a Latin engraved case back, Aliquando Tu Mihi Eris ( Sometimes You’ll Be Me ). Three-tone dial with Arabic numerals at the quarters, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and platinum hands.
A rhodium plated movement, 18 jewels, eight adjustments, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to temperature and five positions, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement are signed.
