A fine and large Swiss 18-carat gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch made for the Hispanic market, circa 1910. Rhodium-plated movement, 30 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Gold hinged cuvette engraved with the technical details, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. Silver and gold dial, foliate engraved, painted Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, outer dot minute divisions, applied gold flowers in the center and on the outer border, original gold Louis XVI hands. Engine-turned case with polished borders, the back with an applied gold foliate monogram. Movement signed under the hour hammer.
