A fine Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased split-seconds chronograph keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1880. Nickel-silver movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work, split-seconds mechanism under the dial. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute and chronograph divisions, sunk subsidiary seconds and original blued steel Breguet hands. Solid case, polished, glazed cover to view movement. Accompanied by a gold fob. Dial and movement signed, case numbered.
