Gold open faced lever watch with centre seconds by Robson

A fine English 18 carat gold open faced centre seconds keyless lever pocket watch, hallmarked Chester 1891-1892. Matte gilt half-plate movement, going barrel, jewelled to the centre, some with screwed chatons, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold temperature and meantime adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with terminal curve, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel two-piece dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minutes and seconds divisions, outermost Arabic five-minute/seconds numerals and original gold spade hands. Polished case, master mark WN, stop-slide in the band. Movement signed.
