An English rare 18 carat gold minute repeating half hunter keyless pocket watch, circa 1891. Jewelled 3/4 plate lever movement signed J.W.Benson, Ludgate Hill, London, repeating on a gong activated by a slide in the band.
White enamel dial with black Roman numerals and outer five-minute divisions, blued steel double spade hands, subsidiary seconds dial at 6.
Polished hinged case with blue enamel chapter ring. Movement signed.
