A fine minute repeating lever in an 18-carat gold full hunter case, hallmarked London 1891. Gilt half-plate keyless movement, raised section over the going barrel. Plain cock with diamond endstone, compensation balance employing quarter timing nuts, free-sprung blue steel double overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Slide minute repeating on two polished steel gongs. Fine white enamel dial by Willis, subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals and blue steel hands. Substantial plain case, double fly springs to the front cover. Recessed gold slide in the band, gold cuvette and bow. Maker’s mark ‘AS’ in a rectangle.
