Gold chronograph with instantaneous 30-minute register by Leroy & Cie

A fine and rare French 18 Carat gold open faced chronograph keyless lever pocket watch with instantaneous 30-minute register, circa 1905. Rhodium-plated movement, 21 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Gold-hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, outermost fifths of second chronograph divisions, subsidiary 30-minute register at 12, subsidiary seconds at 6 and original gold spade hands. Polished case, the back with engraved monogram AV, co axial button for start/stop and return-to-zero of the chronograph in the crown. Dial and cuvette signed, case numbered. Accompanied by the original L. Leroy fitted box.
