An extremely fine, rare and elegant Swiss 18 Carat gold, enamel, platinum, diamond and ruby-set keyless lever pendant watch with matching platinum, diamond-set, gold and enamel chain, circa 1908. Extra flat, rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 16 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Hinged gold cuvette. Frosted engine-turned silver dial with painted dauphine numerals, outer minute track and original gold spade hands. The bezel with white enamel band, the case back overlaid with aquamarine guilloché enamel with raised painted white enamel scroll and flower border, the centre with applied platinum, gold, rose-cut diamond and ruby-set mount, the whole mounted within a pierced platinum, ruby and rose diamond-set framework with three pear shaped diamonds suspended from the lower hinged mount, cabochon sapphire set winding crown. The chain composed of elongated oval links decorated with aquamarine and white enamel, platinum and rose diamond set ribbon terminals. Dial, case and movement signed, case numbered.
