Open faced musical hour striking and repeating clockwatch

A fine and rare Austrian open faced  two tune musical hour striking and repeating clockwatch, circa 1820. Frosted gilt full plate watch movement, cylindrical pillars, fixed going barrel, verge escapement, three armed brass balance, pierced and engraved continental balance cock, silvered regulation dial, striking and repeating on a gong, strike/silent and pull repeat buttons in the band. The musical movement, 60 mm, pinned brass cylinder playing a selection of two tunes on 56 tuned steel teeth, buttons for play/stop and tune selection in the band. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute track, Arabic fifteen minute numerals, inner half hour divisions and original blued steel Breguet hands. Polished bezels, band entirely cast with a repeated hexagonal pattern, loose ring pendant.
