A fine English 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch, London Hallmarks for 1881. Swiss ebauche movement, Frosted gilt 3/4 plate movement, 19 jewels, part in gold screwed chatons, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold meantime and temperature adjustment screws, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve, diamond endstone, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. White enamel dial with bold Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and blued steel spade hands. Polished case, foliate engraved monogram HP to the front, mastermark RSM. Gold hinged gold cuvette. Movement signed.
