Gold hunting cased repeating chronograph by Girard Perregaux

A fine, large Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever chronograph pocket watch, circa 1910. Rhodium plated movement, 36 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Gold hinged cuvette engraved with prize medals and technical details. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track and 1/5th of a second chronograph divisions, subsidiary seconds dial and original gold spade hands. Polished case, button at 12 for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Dial, cuvette and movement signed.
