A fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless pocket watch with 24 hour dial made by Vacheron Constantin SA in Geneva, circa 1910. The matte gilt movement with 17 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, a straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and an index regulator. White enamel dial with Paris numerals, outer minute divisions and red 24 hour markers, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gold spade hands. The polished case with a hinged gold cuvette. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Comes with the original fitted presentation box, a Certificate of Origin and spare crystal.
