Gold split seconds chronograph with register by Patek Philippe

A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless lever split seconds chronograph pocket watch with 30 minute register, circa 1908. Sold on September 18th, 1922. Rhodium plated movement, Geneva Striping decoration, 26 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, chronograph and split seconds mechanisms set on the back plate, swan neck micrometer regulator. Gold hinged cuvette with engraved dedication. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute and fifths of a second divisions with five minute Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6, 30 minute register dial at 12 o’clock and original blued steel spade hands. Polished case, the back with engraved initials MBF, chronograph safety bolt on the band at 11 o’clock, concealed hinge. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed, case numbered.
