A fine and rare Swiss stainless Enversteel open faced chronograph keyless lever dress watch with a tachometer and instantaneous 30-minute and 12-hour registers, circa 1940. Nickel-plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance with timing screws, Breguet balance spring, index regulator, chronograph with visible work, push-pieces on each side of the pendant. Silvered dial with faceted triangular hour indexes, outer minutes and fifths of a second track with Arabic numerals, outermost tachometer scale calculated for 1000 meters, subsidiary dials for seconds and the 30-minute and 12-hour registers, lozenge hands. Polished and brushed case. Dial signed, movement and case signed and numbered.
