Gold enamelled dress watch

A very fine, rare, elegant and ultra-thin Swiss/French 18 carat gold and enamel open faced keyless lever dress watch, circa 1910. A very thin lever movement. White enamel dial with Arabic hours, an outer minute track and blued diamond/kite hands. The French case with sunray engine-turning on the back overlaid with translucent blue enamel and a central effigy of a phoenix, the bezel, pendant and bow are decorated to match. Dial, case and cuvette signed, case numbered.

This very attractive watch has an extremely thin movement with a thickness of only 2 mm. There is no apparent signature to be found but the movement must have been made by one of the best Swiss manufacturers.
