A very fine, thin Swiss 18 carat gold half open faced keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1913. Sold on November 17, 1914. Frosted gilt movement, 15 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever moustache escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Frosted silver dial with champlevé dauphine numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and original blued steel Breguet hands. Polished case. Dial, case and movement signed, case numbered. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
