Gold watch made for the 50th anniversary of the Red Cross

A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased keyless medical chronograph pocket watch with 30 minute register and pulsometer made by Vacheron Constantin SA in Geneva, circa 1913. The cast and high relief decorated case with a scene on the cover, After the Battle, signed by Germain Pochon & Fils. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track with Arabic five minute numerals and fifth of a second divisions, outermost red pulsometer scale, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, 30 minute register at 12 and gold spade hands. Frosted gilt movement with 25 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator and visible chronograph mechanism. Dial, case and movement are signed.
