An Austrian rare “K.U.K Kriegsmarine” half seconds deck watch with pivoted detent escapement, circa 1875.
Original silver engine turned case with military identification “K.u.K Kriegsmarine No. 4493/56209”. Chronometer movement with pivoted detent escapement, Glashütte construction with three-quarter main plate and fine adjusting device, chronometer balance with gold screws and platinum screws. Silvered dial with Roman hours, subsidiary Arabic seconds and blued steel hands.
