An English gilt double dial consular cased verge watch with day, date and moon phase indication, circa 1780. Gilt verge fusee movement, cylinder baluster pillars. Going dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute track with 5 second markers, gilt skeletonized hands and second dial: white enamel, 4 subsidiary dials indicating time, day, moon phase and regulation, gilt hands. Consular case, bezel set with red and white paste stones, 5 knuckle hinge. Dial signed.
