English 18K gold quarter repeating chronograph Circa 1885

A fine English 18 carat gold keyless wind quarter repeating full hunter chronograph pocket watch, London hallmark for 1885. Gilt 3/4 plate English lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, two hammers striking on two gongs. Cream enamel dial with black Roman numerals, black outer 1/5th second track, minute recording at 12, blued steel spade hands and a centre chronograph hand. Polished hinged round case, snap on back, chronograph button at 12 o’clock, repeat slide at 6. Dial and movement signed.
