A rare beautifully decorated 14 carat gold and enamel French watch with virgule escapement and stoppable jumping seconds, circa 1805. Quality movement with virgule escapement and stop work at seven o’clock and spring-loaded cuvette.
White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals for the hours and minutes, gold hands, blued steel jumping second hand.
Gold plain case with enamel and pearls at the back within the middle a polychrome enamel painting of a lady sitting in a garden surrounded by blue translucent enamel.
