A French or Swiss gold enamel open faced pocket watch of the highest quality, circa 1820-1830.
Key winding movement, verge escapement. Silvered engine-turned dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track and gold Breguet-style hands. Gold enamel chased and repoussé case; on the back fully decorated with butterfly and rose designs. The front cover opens with a push from the pendant, and winding sets through the dial.
