A fine Belgian, 18K gold, enamel and rose-cut diamond-set pocket watch, circa 1790. The bezel is decorated with gold paillon flowers on a royal blue translucent enamel ground within white enamel line borders, the back overlaid with royal blue translucent guilloche enamel over sunray engine-turning, gold paillon border, and outer border to match the bezel, the centre set with a rose-cut diamond-set rosette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer dot minute divisions and Arabic 15-minute numerals. Fancy gold hands. A matte gilt, full plate movement, fusee and chain, lateral lever escapement, three-arm steel balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed.
