A large English silver pair cased clock coach watch with alarm (AF), circa 1710. Full plate gilt fusee verge movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, undersprung flat gilt 3-arm balance, hammer striking on a bell, baluster pillars. Later white enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer calendar markers and minute track with Arabic numeral 5 minute markers, hands lacking. Pierced and engraved inner case, repousse outer with one side depicting Alexander the Great and the other depicting Macedoniae Rex. Movement signed. Comes with aselection of watch hands and a small enamel dial.
