A fine and attractive English gold, enamel and diamond set key wind open faced pocket watch with matching enamel and diamond set chatelaine, circa 1780. Gilt full plate cylinder movement, pierced and engraved balance cock, round baluster pillars, diamond end stone, silver regulation. White ename dial, black Arabic numerals and outer minute divisions, winding aperture at 6 and diamond set arrow tipped hands. Consular case with diamond set blue enamel decoration, diamond set bezels, diamond set initials to reverse. Movement signed. Comes with matching diamond set blue enamel chatelaine with key and seal fob and original fitted case.
