A fine and rare French 18 carat two tone gold open faced bras en l’air keyless lever dress watch, circa 1930. Retailed by E. Gübelin. Nickel finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance. Matte silvered dial, two arched sectors calibrated for the retrograde hours and minutes, applied gilt and black seated Buddha raising his arms for time indication activated when button in the band is depressed. White gold case, yellow gold rim to bezel and rim of snap on case back, yellow gold bow. Case signed by watchmaker, bow signed by retailer.
