Open faced gold chronograph pocket watch

A French 18 carat yellow gold, open faced, keyless chronograph pocket watch with a 30 minute counter and tachymeter scale, made by Leroy & Fils, Paris, circa 1930. This watch has a gold, round, basin shaped case with a snapback, signed and numbered. It features a silvered, patinated dial with Breguet style Arabic numerals, two vertical counters for 30 minute and seconds indications, a tachymeter scale, 1/5th of a second graduation, a central chronograph second hand, and blued steel Breguet hands. The signed mechanical movement features crown winding, a bimetallic cup balance, micrometric adjustment, and a lever escapement.
