A Swiss 14 carat gold hunting cased keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1897. Retailed by J.S. Lewis & Co., Ogden, Utah. Nickel finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, swan neck regulator, wolf’s tooth winding. Inscribed cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, red Arabic five minute numerals and subsidiary seconds. Associated engine turned case, coin edged band, monogrammed front cover, hinged back. Movement and dial signed by watchmaker, movement signed by retailer.
