A rare Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating split seconds chronograph keyless lever watch, circa 1908. Retailed by Black, Starr & Frost. Nickel finished lever movement, 32 jewels, minute repeating on two gongs activated by a slide in the band. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial, Breguet numerals, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 30 minute register. Polished case with hidden hinge, the back lid with centered monogram. Case and movement signed by watchmaker, movement and dial signed by retailer.
