A fine Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced quarter repeating cylinder watch made for the Turkish market. circa 1815. Gilt finished cylinder movement, plain three armed brass balance, repeating on two polished steel hammers onto two gongs. Gilt cuvette. White enamel dial with Turkish numerals, outer railway minute divisions. Case with polychrome champlevé enamel floral decorated bezel, rim and bow, the reverse with a polychrome enamel bouquet of flowers on green background, pink scroll decoration surround. Cuvette bearing the signature Breguet and No. 2855.
