A fine and decorative Swiss 18 carat rose gold half hunting cased keyless lever watch, circa 1896. Gilt finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Gold cuvette with engraved inscription. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Case with finely engraved vermicelle decoration, inlaid black enamel Roman numerals and inner minute track to the glazed aperture in the front, inlaid black enamel floral pattern to the back, decorated pendant. Case, cuvette, dial and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Comes with original certificate and box.
