An unusual and decorative Swiss 18 carat gold and pearl set daisy flower shaped keywound cylinder watch with concealed dial, circa 1880. Gilt finished cylinder movement. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, concealed under a realistically textured, domed hinged gold cover representing the flower’s disk or center, opened by depressing a button in the band. Daisy flower shaped case, split pearl set rays or petals, realistically modelled hinged back depicting the underside and stem of the flower, a glazed locket to the inside, stem shaped pendant, matching gold and split pearl set short length of chain and key.
