A very fine, rare and attractive Swiss 18 carat gold pair cased keyless lever Cabriolet watch, circa 1901. Gilt finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals. Finely chased and engraved vermicelli decorated inner case, back centred by a branch of leaves, similarly decorated hinged outer case consisting of three parts, one inner and one outer bezel and reverse centred by a blank cartouche. Cases, dial and movement signed, case and movement numbered.
