A fine Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced minute repeating chronograph keyless lever watch, circa 1892. Nickel finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding, minute repeating on two hammers. Gold cuvette engraved Sam. P. Negus from Mother 1893. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, red outer five minute divisions and red subsidiary seconds. Case with repeating slide and chronograph locking slide in the band, chronograph button in the crown. Case, cuvette, dial and movement signed, case and movement numbered.
