A Swiss 18 carat gold half hunting cased quarter repeating keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1870. Gilt finished mechanical lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two gongs activated through a slide in the band. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, sunken subsidiary seconds. Engine turned case, monogrammed hinged back, coin edged band, front case with polished chapter ring with blue enamel Roman numerals at the aperture. Case stamped RB, cuvette signed.
