A fine English 18 carat gold hunting cased keywound pocket chronometer, circa 1810-1820. Full plate gilt finished detent chronometer movement, chain fusée, freesprung balance with wedged weights, blued steel balance spring, helical hairspring, diamond endstone, Cream enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Polished case, coin edged band, geometric motif to the bezel and rim. Movement signed, case stamped FR&C.
