A fine French 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl set open faced keywound verge watch, circa 1810-1820. Gilt finished full plate verge movement, chain fusée, pierced and engraved cock balance, three armed balance, gilt regulator plate. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals. Case with polychrome enamel scene to the back depicting two maidens in a classical landscape, pearl set bezel and back rim, cream, white and blue enamel to the stem, hinged back. Dial and movement signed.
