A fine and rare Swiss rose gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever watch, circa 1892. Retailed by Hammersmith & Field, San Francisco. Jewelled Extra lever movement, minute repeating on two gongs activated through a slide in the band, bimetallic compensation balance, micrometer regulator. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer red Arabic five minute divisions and subsidiary seconds. Plain case, hinged back. Case, cuvette and movement numbered, dial and movement signed by retailer. Comes with original certificate and presentation box.
