A very fine and attractive Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond set open faced Art Nouveau keyless lever pendant  watch with matching brooch, circa 1901. Retailed by A. Newsalt, Dayton, Ohio. Nickel finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Blue, green and yellow enamelled inscribed gold cuvette. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and outer railway minute divisions with gilt Arabic five minute divisions. Case with lily of the valley flower and leaf decorated openwork to the back set with nine diamonds. Comes with matching openwork gold and diamond set brooch with lily of the valley and leaf flower design. Case, dial, and movement signed by watchmaker, movement signed by retailer, case and movement numbered.
