A fine and small Swiss 18 carat rose gold and enamel open faced keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1896. Keyless jewelled lever movement. Gold cuvette. Cream-coloured enamel dial with Arabic numerals. Milled bezels, small case, hinged back with a painted polychrome enamel scene of boats on the Lake of Geneva with the snowy peak of the Mont Blanc in the background, surrounded by chased gold scrolls and the coat of arms of the Canton of Geneva against a translucent blue enamel on an engine-turned ground. Case, dial, cuvette and movement signed.
