A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating split seconds chronograph keyless lever watch with Breguet numerals and vertical registers, circa 1929. Retailed by Tiffany & Co.
Keyless lever movement, 40 jewels, minute repeating on two hammers onto two gongs. Gold cuvette. Silvered dial, applied gold Breguet numerals, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 30 minutes register. Plain case with hidden hinge, chronograph operated through crown, split seconds button and repeating slide in the band, hinged case back. Case, dial, cuvette and movement signed by watchmaker, dial further signed by the retailer.
