A fine and rare French platinum, diamond and onyx pendant watch, circa 1920. Mechanical lever movement. Silvered dial with ‘exploding’ Arabic numerals. Rectangular platinum case, the front with a rectangular panel of onyx surrounded by a bezel set with rose cut diamonds, surmounted by the pendant consisting of four larger round cut diamonds, a band of 6 rose cut diamonds and a looping scroll of rose cut diamonds and a small square panel of onyx. Dial and movement signed, case hand stamped with Cartier numbers.
