A Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced quarter repeating key-wound cylinder pocket watch, circa 1830. Gilt finished jewelled cylinder movement, three armed balance, quarter repeating on two hammers onto a gong, repeat activated through the crown. Gilt cuvette. Gilt guilloché dial, chapter ring with Roman numerals, floral spacers, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and blued steel moon style hands. Engine turned case and band, the band with a slide lever. Case and cuvette numbered, case stamped LE.
