A fine Swiss 18K gold, polychrome painted-on enamel and pearl-set pocket watch, circa 1810. The back is painted-on enamel with a flower and fruit bouquet, translucent royal blue enamel background over radial sunray engine-turning, reeded band, and the bezels set with pearls. White enamel dial, Arabic numerals, outer minute track, winding aperture at 2 o’clock and blued steel Breguet hands. A frosted gilt full plate movement with turned pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, pierced and chased continental balance cock, polished steel endplate, silver regulator dial. Dial and movement signed.
