An English silver and gold open faced keyless lever watch with 6 minute flying tourbillon, circa 1899. Retailed by D. Norris, Unico Agente, Para Brazil. 3/4 Plate gilt finished jewelled lever movement, screwed gold chatons, blued screws, gilt flying tourbillon carriage, bimetallic compensation balance with gold poising screws, freesprung regulator with diamond endstone. Silver cuvette. White enamel dial, Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands and subsidiary seconds. Plain case, gold crown and hinges. Case stamped ‘WB’ (William Bullock), numbered 38715 and stamped with London date letter for 1899, dial signed, movement signed by maker and retailer.
